Lennard-Jones Centre

The Lennard-Jones Centre brings together researchers from different departments across the University of Cambridge with a common interest in materials and molecular modelling. TCM is an active participant in this initiative.

The LJC runs a Monday afternoon Discussion Group to which TCM often contributes. Topics include electronic structure, statistical mechanics and machine learning.

Prior to the formation of the LJC Discussion Group, TCM ran the Electronic Structure Discussion Group, to which people from Earth Sciences, Engineering and Materials Science contributed. Its webpage remains for its archive of talks.
